Palate: At first sip, I find classic bourbon notes in light cherry skins, raisin, and caramel.

Palate: The first sip is incredibly mellow, with silky smooth vanilla and cherry slowly migrating throughout Touches of white pepper throughout give a tiny bit of spice to the palate.

Palate: Strange viscosity here. Cinnamon spicy pie crust. Ripe pear is definitely apparent. While the strange nose was really fun, it's less enjoyable on the palate.

Palate: My first sip is incredibly as thorough as the nose; it starts out with rich leather, pulsating Cinnamon spice kicks up well but doesn't punish the palate.

Palate:  My first taste lands like a fresh bedsheet falling into place with a wave of linen and some dusty funk hitting on the back palate first before candied sweetness tickles up near the tip of the tongue

Palate: Yum - buttercream frosting and sugar cookie flavors jump onto the tongue.

Palate: Thin to start, but led by citrus & cherry. For my palate tonight however, I think I will use this as a hiking / camping / backpacking bring-along

This provided an oily depth to the palate and had a rounding effect on the lively younger rye. Palate: My first sip is laced with lovely orange peel zest.

The result is a robust Bourbon with chocolate and stout notes that smooth the palate, lengthen the finish Dark chocolate now that the nose has evolved some and the palate has opened up my senses a bit more. Palate: Oh yeah. I'm immediately reminded of why we selected this barrel. Palate: Plum pie with cinnamon spice and caramel lead the charge for this pour. Dark cherry syrup coats the palate well now and brings with it inconspicuous sweet floral tones.

Palate: My first sip is so creamy upfront; it's like a mouthful of whipped cream! Rating: Two Thumbs Way Up I think the palate isn't quite as complex and layered as the nosing experience

Palate: Explosive cinnamon and oak. Orange peel zested into a spicy herb sauce floats around the palate long after a sip.
