I'll be tasting today with my 'TWC' kenzie glass for this one - shout out to the Coalition for keeping been turned away a bit by the high corn, though that preconception was shattered by Josh who let us taste Time to give it a taste.

Lighter wood aromas begin to show up and I'm greeted with more orange tones. The linger is nice on this being on the lighter side with cooler fruit tones bubbling off the surface

cider or Calvados will definitely enjoy the extra notes the finish imparted without covering up what tastes think this did everything that it said it was going to do based on the information they provide; it tastes I'm going to thoroughly enjoy tasting through the rest of this bottle with family and friends!

Coming off the wonderful palate calibration that is Thanksgiving dinner, I am rested and invigorated to taste Rather than tasting the umpteenth release from one of the bourbon giants, I will offer an exploration

Vanilla turning lighter than the beginning glaze texture now, making way for a hint of bright florals Way more herbal here on palate without the creamy caramel and brown sugar holding down the lighter notes

It's for this reason I try to never review a bottle in-depth upon only tasting it once. Normally I shoot for a minimum of three tastings before I like to offer my thoughts both here and on It's time for a taste. This tastes almost identical to the other glass, but the chronology is interestingly a bit jumbled.

undertaking Nose: Upon lifting the glass to my nose I find a comforting array of dark chocolate, cinnamon toasted

I'm always thankful to be able to taste and evaluate whiskey this nuanced, especially over many tastings

Leather, rich cherry and cinnamon infused oak attack the taste buds without sending them into shock. TL;DR: Holy moly, that is good whiskey - an absolute powerhouse of flavor that you can taste for days

This should be a fun tasting. If you have any of these batches let me know what you think of them! I mainly taste a delicious rye - minty, herbal, with citrus zest and caramel. Going in for a taste reveals herbal funkiness, tannic oak, and a slow, soft wave of red wine. Savoring a taste of this reveals beautiful, rich cherry notes up front with caramel, apricot and molasses Act 8's aren't at all bad either based on the findings from this tasting.
