Nose: Mmm stone fruit, coffee grounds and a touch of malt to start. Chocolate, meaty, malty aromas are very heavy in this glass. The overall feel is still very malty. There's also a copper with a heavy patina smell now. The empty glass smells of sweet malt, oak and honey. Palate: Wow, way different than the nose.

Some malty grains that instantly evolve into a rich chocolate & coffee bean. There's a texture and flavor that reminds me of my favorite parts of Nikka Coffey Malt.

Further Identification:  Weldon Mills uses a three-grain mashbill with locally grown North Carolina corn, malted The linger is medium in length with flavors that remind me of ginger tea and melted sugar cubes. The cinnamon and underlying orange tones remain the common thread among the other mingling notes.
