Palate: Wow, that is some intense flavor. Some of that cardamom transfers to the palate now with a nice citrus sweetness.

I tend to enjoy oak-forward notes more on the nose than I do on the palate, so I'm going to give this Palate: Right from the start I find a refined, balanced and approachable Stagg - not the spice bomb of Flashes of Christmas spices burst onto the palate at times.

Palate: Oily mouth coating matches the nose very well. Copper, viscous citrus and molasses.

Palate: Big bready tones flash up first followed by that signature fruity sweet tart profile. My last sip is just as delicious as the first with a trove of fruit notes bombarding the palate. molasses at the palate with both elegance and vigor. Palate: Oh. My. Goodness! Palate: Creamy tiramisu hits first with beautiful espresso soaked ladyfingers.
